Terps Earn Second Seed in B1G Tourney, Host Northwestern Sunday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The No. 7 Maryland men's soccer team has earned the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will host seventh-seeded Northwestern in a tournament quarterfinal Sunday afternoon at Ludwig Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m., and the game will be shown on B1G Plus. 

Maryland clinched the No. 2 seed after a 2-0 win over Indiana on Sunday afternoon at Ludwig. The Terps are 7-0-1 so far this season at Ludwig Field and previously defeated Northwestern 3-1 on Oct. 8 in College Park.

The semifinals will take place on Wednesday, November 10, at the sites of the highest two remaining seeds, while the final is scheduled for Sunday, November 14, at the highest remaining seed.

No. 1 seed, Penn State will host No. 8 seed Michigan State at 4 p.m. ET, while No. 3 seed Indiana will welcome No. 6 seed Rutgers to Bloomington, and No. 4 seed Michigan will host No. 5 seed Wisconsin.
