COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland volleyball team returns to College Park for a pair of weekend contests against No.8 Purdue and Michigan.Â
Friday night will be the programs "VS Cancer Night" where we will partner with the foundation to raise funds helping research pediatric brain tumors. Sunday will be a special day for Testudo Kid's Club Members with Maryland's signature mascot in attendance.Â
Due to coinciding events on Friday night parking in Lot 11b will be available to volleyball match attendees for free on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans must tell the parking attendant that they are present to attend the volleyball match. If full, fans should utilize paid parking at Regents Drive Garage or free parking in Lots 1 and Z. For more information check

RAINELLE'S REJECTIONS
- Senior middle blocker Rainelle Jones has cemented herself as one of the nation's best blockers as well as one of the best in program history.
- Jones currently leads the NCAA with 1.82 blocks per set while the Terps lead the nation with 3.19 blocks per set
- On Sunday against Rutgers the Oxon Hill, MD, native recorded her 500th career block to become only the fourth Terrapin ever to reach that milestone
- She leads the team with 144 total blocks this season
CHASING HISTORY
- Maryland continues to have one of its best seasons in recent history as they chase the postseason for the first time in 16 years.
- Mayland's last 18-win season came in 2018, Coach Hughes' first season.
- With one more victory the Terps will reach 19 wins for the first time since 2010. The program joined the Big Ten in 2015.Â
- The program last reached 20 victories in 2005 when the team went 28-5 and last reached the NCAA Tournament.
home court advantage
- The Terps have had an incredible home court advantage this season buoyed by back-to-back top-ten attendances in program history.
- 1,828 came out to the Wisconsin match before 1,513 watched the Terps against Penn State.
- The Terps are 10-2Â this season at home with 34Â sets won to only ten sets lost.
- Continuing Big Ten play the Terps are set to face a pair of familiar opponents in Purdue and Michigan.
- Maryland is 1-9 against Purdue throughout program history with that victory coming on October 29, 2019, in five sets at the XFINITY Center Pavilion.
- The Terps are 2-13 against the Wolverines. The Terps fell to Michigan earlier this season on October 15.
