COLLEGE PARK, Md.  – The annual A.J. Francis Canned Food Drive will take place this weekend at several University of Maryland Athletics home events. All in attendance are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to the identified gates prior to each game listed below. 

The canned food drive will begin on Friday, Nov. 19 at the Terrapins men's basketball game against Hofstra and continues the following day when football hosts Michigan at Maryland Stadium. It'll wrap up on Sunday, Nov. 21 at the women's basketball game against Baylor at the XFINITY Center.

Francis, who played four seasons at Maryland from 2009-12 while also carving out a career in the NFL, will be in attendance at the football game. 

The complete schedule for the A.J. Francis Canned Food Drive is below:

Men's Basketball
Date: Friday, November 19 (Maryland vs. Hofstra)
Game Time: 6:30 pm
Collection: will begin at 5:00 pm and end midway through the first half (approx. 7:30 pm)
Locations: Gates A, B, C, D and E

Football
Date: Saturday, November 20 (Maryland vs. Michigan)
Game Time: 3:30pm
Collection: will begin at 2:00 pm conclude at the end of the 1st Quarter (approx. 5:00 pm)
Locations: Gates C, F and I

Women's Basketball
Date: Sunday, November 21 (Maryland vs. Baylor)
Game Time: 1:00 pm
Collection: will begin at 12:00 pm and end at the conclusion of the 1st Quarter (approx. 1:30 pm)
