COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Maryland travels to Lincoln, Nebraska, for its second road game of the season to face the Cornhuskers at 4 p.m. on FS1 and the Maryland Sports Radio Network. Maryland earned a 13–10 win in its last visit to Nebraska on Nov. 11, 2023, as Jack Howes connected on a 24-yard field goal as time expired. The Terps forced five turnovers to secure their first-ever victory over the Cornhuskers and clinch bowl eligibility for the third consecutive season.

Maryland is looking to win its first two road games of a season for the first time since 2017. The Terps are also seeking to win their conference road opener in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2004–05.
The Terps have allowed fewer than 250 passing yards in seven straight road games, the third-longest active streak in the FBS.
Maryland has completed 43 more passes than its opponents this season (109–66). That margin leads the Big Ten in 2026 and is tied for ninth nationally.
The Terrapins are averaging a Big Ten-leading 72.5 offensive plays per game this season, up from 66.3 last season, when they ranked third in the conference.
Malik Washington is one of only two Big Ten quarterbacks with at least 100 completions through his team's first four games this season, joining USC's Jayden Malava (110). Former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola was the only Big Ten quarterback to reach that mark last season (102).
Chris Durr Jr. has recorded at least six receptions in each of his four games this season. Only two Maryland players have had longer streaks this century: Tai Felton, with six straight games in 2024, and Levern Jacobs, with five in 2013.
Maryland's 12 sacks are tied for second in the Big Ten and 17th nationally.

Wide receiver Chris Durr Jr. recorded seven receptions for 56 yards vs. UCLA. He has recorded six or more catches in each of his four games this season.
Durr Jr. leads the nation in receptions (35) and receptions per game (8.8).
Durr Jr. became just the third Terrapin in the last 30 years to record at least six receptions in each of the season's first four games.
He established career-highs with 12 receptions and two touchdowns, along with his second 100-yard game in a row with 109 yards against Virginia Tech (9/19). He also surpassed 1,000 career receiving yards in the game.
He became the only Maryland player this century to record consecutive 10-catch games.
Durr Jr. joined Buffalo Bills star WR D.J. Moore (12-210, 2TD) and two-time Super Bowl champion Torrey Smith (14-224, 4TD) as the only Terps in the past 30 seasons with at least 12 catches, 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a game.
Durr Jr. recorded at least 100 receiving yards and a touchdown against both UConn and Virginia Tech. The only other Terps players to do that this century are Vernon Davis (2005), Torrey Smith (2010), Stefon Diggs (2013), Dontay Demus Jr. (2021) and Tai Felton (2024).
He is the only Maryland player since 1996 to have 10+ receptions in consecutive games and is just the third Terrapin over the last 30 seasons to record 6+ receptions in 4+ straight games to begin a season joining D.J. Moore (2017), and Tai Felton (2024).
Durr Jr. is the first Big Ten player to record double-digit catches in multiple games this season.
The only other Maryland player this century with 10 catches in two games for an entire season was Tai Felton in 2024. The last Big Ten player with a longer streak of double-digit reception games was Purdue's Charlie Jones in 2022 (three).
Durr Jr. is the ninth Big Ten player since 1996 to have 10+ receptions and 1+ rec TD in consecutive games.
He is the third Maryland player over the last 30 seasons with 12+ rec., 100+ rec. yards and 2+ rec. TD in a game.

Washington ranks second in both the Big Ten and the nation with 101 completions. His 25.25 completions per game lead the conference and rank sixth nationally.
He ranks eighth in program history in career completions (374) and 12th in both career passing yards (3,997) and touchdown passes (23).
Washington threw for 359 yards and three touchdowns against Virginia Tech, becoming Maryland's first quarterback with consecutive 300-yard passing games since Taulia Tagovailoa in 2022. His passing yardage was the second-highest total of his career, and the performance marked his third career game with three touchdown passes.
He is also the second Maryland player in the last 30 years to record at least 350 yards of total offense in consecutive games. The last Big Ten player with a longer streak was Ohio State's C.J. Stroud, who did so in five straight games in 2021.
Washington's 374 completions rank fifth among Big Ten quarterbacks through their first 16 FBS starts since 2008, while his 3,997 passing yards rank ninth.
His 4,321 yards of total offense rank 12th among Big Ten quarterbacks through their first 16 career FBS starts.

With his third straight game with at least three receptions, he ranks fourth among Terrapins TEs for the longest such streak over the past 30 years.
He surpassed 1,000 career receiving yards on six catches for 72 yards with his first touchdown of the season against Virginia Tech (9/19). He joined Chris Durr Jr., in reaching 1,000 yards against the Hokies.
Fleming has receptions in 13 consecutive games dating to last season and 27 of his last 28 games going back to 2024.
He becomes just the fifth Maryland tight end in the last 30 seasons to record nine games with three or more receptions.
