WEEKEND STORYLINES
Senior Day Spectacular
- Saturday's match will feature a Senior Day ceremony prior to the match honoring six total individuals: Lexi Kohut, Hannah Thompson, Kaylee Thomas, Paula Neciporuka, Maddie Naumann, and Rainelle Jones. The group features four graduates and two seniors.
- The group has helped propel Maryland to 19 wins this season, the most for the program since joining the Big Ten conference and the most since 2010 overall.
Stat Studs
- Nearing the end of the season, Maryland has several Terps at, or near, the top of various Big Ten statistical categories.
- First and foremost, Milan Gomillion and Rainelle Jones lead the conference in digs and blocks respectively. Both Prince George's County native, the duo have played a big reason in the Terps' defensive success.
- Elsewhere, Sydney Dowler is 7th in the conference in service aces and 8th in assists. Sam Csire is 9th in the Big Ten with 4.09 points per set.
Future Terps
- Since the last home match, the Terps have officially welcomed two Terps to the 2022 class: Laila Ivey and Ally Williams
- Ivey is an outside hitter from Annapolis, MD that was recently named a First Team All-American. Williams, meanwhile, is a defensive specialist/libero from St. Louis, MO.

- SCOUTING THE FOES
- Closing out conference play, the Terps have a pair of rematches with foes from earlier in the season: Ohio State and Minnesota.
- Friday's foe, Ohio State, has won 15 out of 20 meetings over Maryland. The Buckeyes won via sweep on October 2 in Columbus.
- Minnesota is 16-0 over Maryland. The Gophers won via sweep on September 26 in Minneapolis.
