COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Eric Ayala had a career-high 24 points, including 17 in the first half, to lead Maryland to its second win over Nebraska in as many nights, defeating the Huskers 79-71.
The Terps made 13 three-pointers to move to 13-10 (7-9 Big Ten) and win their third game in four days. Aaron Wiggins tallied 22 points in the game, giving him 43 points in the past two games.
Maryland will be back in action at Rutgers on Sunday, February 21 at 3:00 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
