COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland softball will return to Leesburg, Florida to compete against Purdue and Iowa, March 11-14. The Terrapins (3-3) will meet the Boilermakers (2-4) and Hawkeyes (2-4) in a three-game series each.

Maryland will enter the weekend coming off of a successful season opener, going 3-3 including a win over No. 24 Minnesota. Sophomore Trinity Schlotterbeck excelled in the circle for the Terps, going 3-0 with a 0.63 ERA on two earned runs throughout 21 innings. Newcomer Jaeda McFarland was a standout for Maryland in the outfield and in the box, posting eight hits, three RBIs and a 1.000% fielding percentage (17 for 17) through six games.
