COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland volleyball team hit .349 in a fantastic offensive performance led by 13 kills from
Erika Pritchard to sweep Iowa, 3-0 and sweep the Hawkeyes on the weekend.
With her 13 kills, Pritchard passed Adreené Elliott to move to second all-time in program ranks with 1,436 career kills. Pritchard did not have an attack error in the win and hit .500 to go with five digs and three blocks.
Cara Lewis led the dominant Maryland block with eight as the Terps outblocked Iowa 15-3. The Terps hit .469 in the first set to take it 25-21, dominated the second set at 25-16 and persevered in the third set, winning it 25-20.
This marks the first time since joining the Big Ten in 2014 that the Terps have won three matches in a row. Maryland will look to make it four next week at Illinois.
