- Maryland went to five sets in one of its most tightly-contested matches of the season, but couldn't secure the win to get the program's first-ever win over Illinois.
- Pritchard notched her fifth double-double of the season, tallying a team-high 18 kills while also recording 13 digs. The senior outside hitter also recorded a service ace and a block assist.
- Freshman outside hitter Sam Csire also tallied double-digit kills, posting 11, the third-best mark of her career.
- Freshman setter Sydney Dowler led the team with 25 assists, while senior setter Nicole Alford tallied 20. Senior libero Sam Burgio also added five.
- Maryland recorded eight aces on the evening, the second-best mark the team has reached this season. Dowler had a team- and career-high three.
- Sophomore middle blocker Cara Lewis led the team with five blocks. Maryland recorded eight total team blocks in the match,
- Burgio continued to shine in the pass game, recording 26 digs in the match. The senior moves to second in the conference in digs/set (4.40).
