PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Maryland women's tennis was defeated by Rutgers on Friday, 4-0.

DOUBLES*
- No. 1: Minorka Miranda and Adela Joseofva were down 2-4 against Maya Jacobs and Chloe Brown at the time of the point
- No. 2: Ebony Sampson and Zoe Kulkarni were defeated by Alisa Prinyarux and Tess Fisher 1-6
- No. 1: Miranda made her debut at the No. 1 spot, competing against Jacobs but ultimately fell 1-6, 0-6
- No. 2: Josefova put up a fight against Fisher in the first set 4-6, but was defeated in the second 0-6
- No. 3: Kulkarni and Sydney Kaplan were tied 6-6 at the time of the match point
- No. 4: Sampson was down 1-6, 4-5 when the Scarlet Knights took the match
- No. 5: Vera Markovic was in a tight second set battle against Brown, 2-6, 5-6 but did not finish
