COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland softball will take on the Michigan State Spartans for its second home series this weekend, April 9-11.

The Terps will head into the series coming off a 1-3 run with No. 24 Northwestern, notching a victory over the Wildcats in the second game of the weekend 4-3. Maryland had an impressive offensive showing, with the Terps recording nearly 25 hits over the series, including a homers from freshman Jaeda McFarland, and junior Gracie Voulgaris, her second of her career.

This weekend's matchup will be the 20th meeting between the Spartans and Terrapins, with MSU holding a 13-6 record in all time series. The two last faced each other in East Lansing in 2019, where Maryland took the first game 11-9.
