ROSEMONT, Ill. - Jaeda McFarland has been named the Big Ten Co-Freshman of the week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. This marks her second career freshman of the week honor (04/13) of the season.

McFarland had a stellar weekend in the Terrapins' series with Rutgers, hitting a .467 with a .533 slugging and .500 on-base percentage. The Terp added seven hits, three runs and three steals (each a team-high for the series), and had at least two hits in the final three games (all victories) against the Scarlet Knights. 

Maryland along with McFarland will take on Indiana for its final series of the regular season at home May 14-16.
