COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Indiana Hoosiers topped Maryland softball 2-0 on Friday to start the four game series.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Maryland will face Indiana for a doubleheader on Saturday, May 15 beginning at 2 PM.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams remained scoreless through five full innings
- In the top of the sixth, Indiana loaded the bases after a walk and two bunt singles
- After reaching on a fielder's choice and a proceeding ground ball, Indiana's runner on third came home to put the Hoosiers up 2-0
- Jennifer Brann pitched five full innings and notched five strikeouts during her appearance in the circle
