COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland will host Kent State on Saturday, Sept. 25 at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium in a game that will kick at 3:30 p.m. and air on Big Ten Network, it was announced on Monday.
Maryland, which has started 2-0 for the eighth time in the last 10 years, is coming off a 62-0 win over Howard after opening the season with a 30-24 victory against West Virginia.
The Terps open Big Ten play this week at Illinois. The game will kick at 9 p.m. on Friday night and will be broadcast on FS1 and the Maryland Sports Radio Network.
Kent State (1-1) lost its season opener at No. 7 Texas A&M, 41-10, before bouncing back this past week by topping VMI, 60-10. The Golden Flashes take on another Big Ten foe this week, traveling to No. 5 Iowa on Saturday.
It will mark the first all-time meeting between Maryland and Kent State.Â
