COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland women's tennis program has released its fall 2021 schedule, as announced by head coach Katie Dougherty on Friday.
"We're excited to get going this fall and fortunate to be back competing," Dougherty said. "The fall is an important time for us to improve and we've got multiple opportunities to compete within that time frame to assess our growth and continually evaluate how we're approaching different aspects of development. The team has been working hard out of the gate and I'm excited to see where we are and where we'll be in November."
The Terps will hit the road to start out the fall season, traveling north to compete in the Columbia Invitational Sept. 17-19 in New York, New York. The following week, Maryland will host the 10th annual Bedford Cup at the Junior Tennis Champion's Center in College Park, Sept. 24-26. The Terps will then head to the state capitol to play in the ITA Regionals in Annapolis, Oct. 1-4. The ITA All-American tournament will then occur in Charleston, South Carolina Oct. 4-10.
Traveling back to Annapolis, Navy will host Maryland for the Blue and Gold Invite, Oct. 8-10. Maryland will wrap up the month of October at the ITA Super Regionals in Charlottesville, Virginia, Oct. 22-25. The Terps will finish out the fall season Nov. 4-7 at the ITA Fall Nationals in San Diego, California.
Brackets and times will be made available once they are received. Be sure to follow along on our socials, @TerpTennis.
