COLLEGE PARK, Md. --Â The No. 8 Maryland men's soccer team travels to Bloomington to face Indiana in the final match of the regular season. The match will be broadcast on Big Ten Network and kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
With a win, Maryland capture win the Big Ten Regular Season Championship for the first time since 2016. The Terps can also win the title outright with a tie + an Ohio State loss. With a loss, the Terps can still win a share of the title with an Ohio State tie or loss. Maryland and Ohio State can win the title outright while Indiana has an opportunity for a share
THIS WEEK'S STORYLINES
- Maryland's consecutive wins over Michigan State and Delaware have been dominant. The Terps beat Michigan State 1-0, not allowing a Spartan shot for the entire match. Maryland's last match allowing zero shots was against Loyola (MD) in 2006.
- The Terps then beat Delaware 4-1 behind three first half goals. They did not allow a shot until the second half.
- Sophomore William Kulvik was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
- Maryland is in its eighth season as a member of the Big Ten, sporting a 39-17-13 record in conference play. The Terps have won three Big Ten Tournament titles and two Big Ten regular season titles since entering the league, along with the 2018 National Championship.
- Senior Nick Richardson (Defensive 2x), Senior Chris Rindov (Defensive), senior Malcolm Johnston (Co-Offensive), senior Niklas Neumann (Co-Defensive) and sophomore William Kulvik (Defensive 2x) have picked up Big Ten hardware this season.

- Former Maryland players continue to thrive on and off the pitch in the professional ranks and Zack Steffen is no exception.Â
- Maryland will hosted the its Michigan State match in partnership with the VOYCENOW Foundations, which was founded by Steffen and former Terps' teammate Alex Crognale. VOYCENOW was founded as a direct response to the Black community's fight for equality after the tragic murder of George Floyd. - The new documentary Finding His Voyce profiles Steffen's rise through the lens of his growth as a player and person within Maryland Men's Soccer, one of the best collegiate programs in history. Steffen, his mother Stefanie, Maryland head coach Sasho Cirovski, ESPN analyst and Maryland Hall of Famer Taylor Twellman, among others, help narrate the story of Steffen remarkable assent to soccer star and societal leader. 30 Seasons of Sasho
- Hall of Fame head coach Sasho Cirovski is on the sidelines for his 30th season as the head coach of the Terps. Cirovski has led the Terps to a trio of national titles (2005, 2008, 2018) and 11 conference titles.
- Cirovski's 29Â NCAA Tournament appearances rank him first in the history of NCAA Division I soccer (27 at Maryland, two at Hartford). He has guided the Terps to nine appearances in the College Cup.
- The star players that have come through College Park during Cirovski's tenure is a list unmatched in college soccer. He has produced 12 full USA internationals and made Maryland the only school with alums in the last four FIFA Men's World Cups.Â

20 Seasons of the Crew
- Maryland men's soccer celebrates 20 seasons of The Crew, it's student supporters section, in 2022. The Sept. 2 match against Denver served as the "20 Seasons of The Crew" match.

- Maryland senior center back Chris Rindov has risen from walk-on to captain and has become one of the best defenders in the country.Â
