CARY, N.C. – The University of Maryland women's tennis team traveled to Cary, North Carolina this past weekend to compete in the ITA All-American Championships. Graduate student Hannah McColgan and senior Selma Cadar competed in the singles, while graduate student Marta Perez Mur and McColgan teamed up for doubles. 

Perez Mur and McColgan won both of their pre-qualifying matches before falling short in a pair of qualifying matchups.

1st round: Hannah McColgan lost to Safiya Carrington, LSU (1-6, 1-6)

2nd round Consolation: Hannah McColgan lost to Carley Briggs, Florida (1-6, 1-6)

2nd round consolation: Selma Cadar vs. Clarissa Hand, Northwestern (3-6, 3-6)

2nd round: McColgan/Perez Mur vs. Zehender/Fernandez Villa, Wyoming (8-6)

2nd round consolation: Mohr/Stammel, Vanderbilt vs. McColgan/Perez Mur (8-2)
