Terps Post Fourth-Best Score Ever With 196.700, Knock Off No. 6 Gophers

COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland gymnastics team recorded its fourth-best score in program history with a 196.700 in its tri-meet on Monday afternoon, downing the No. 6 Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Pitt Panthers. Pittsburgh placed second with a score of 196.450, while Minnesota finished in third with 196.225.

Minnesota had a gymnast place the best individual score in all of the events, but the Terps' depth proved to be the difference in the tri-meet. Audrey Barber posted the Terps' best all-around score with a 39.425 while Emma Silberman finished with a 39.275.
