Brenda Frese's Take
"Just so proud of how this team continues to respond to adversity and whatever is thrown their way. Ohio State, obviously a phenomenal team, they punched early. In the first half, we had way too many turnovers. I think we had 10 at half and just really kind of needed to settle down at halftime, but the response out of the locker room was terrific. It started with Diamond [Miller] setting the tone on the defensive end with big plays defensively. We were able to mix some things up defensively that I thought they really tuned into the game plan, make their life difficult, and then can't say enough about these two, Mimi [Collins] and Angel [Reese]. Mimi brought the energy from the tip. Mimi was active, confident, playing like the Mimi we know and was a huge X factor for us in this game. Angel does what Angel does. A huge presence inside, getting to the free throw line, making free throws, getting on the glass for us and a huge presence for us inside."
