IRAPUATO, MEXICO -- Incoming women's basketball freshman Jordyn Jackson and the USA U18 National Team won gold at the FIBA AmeriCup Monday night in Irapuato, Mexico.
Jackson averaged 6.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.0 steals in Team USA's five game streak.
The USA (5-0) beat Canada (4-1) 90-72 on Monday night in the gold medal game. With the victory, the U.S. have won their 13th consecutive gold medal at the competition.Congrats to incoming Terp @JaylaJordyn and Team USA for winning gold at the @americupw! 🥇🇺🇸
