Terps Wrap Up Big Ten Indoor Championships

Geneva, OH –The Terrapins competed on the final day of competition at the Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by the Spire Institute in Geneva, OH.
On day two of competition, several Terps had strong showings in the field and on the track to close out the Championship weekend.

Women's Notes

Angel Nkwonta earned a top ten result in the weight throw, throwing to a mark of 20.07m and qualifying for the finals. She holds the program record in the event.

Alice Barnsdale (18.82m) Kamryn Henderson (17.08m) and Sarah George (17.91m) also had great performances in the strong weight throw field.

Madison Depry competed in the high jump, clearing 1.70m and earning a top ten finish in the event.

Chelsey Cole (12.17m) competed in the triple jump on day two of competition after taking part in the long jump on day one.

Maryland's 4x400 relay squad of Kattiana Ealy-Pulido, Kasey Ebb, Ariana Ealy-Pulido and Madison Depry wrapped up Big Ten Championship competition, sprinting to a 3:49.25 finish.
