COLLEGE PARK, Md -- The Maryland women's tennis team (3-1) defeated the George Washington Colonials in a 7-0 sweep Saturday afternoon at the Junior Tennis Champions Center.

Mary Brumfield and Selma Cadar won the first doubles match with a sweep. (6-0)
Maryland clinched the doubles point with a win from Jojo Bach and Marta Perez Mur, 6-2.
Selma Cadar won her singles match in straight sets giving the Terps the first singles point of the day.
Freshman Mary Brumfield came back from a 0-6 loss in the first singles set and defeated Charlotte Bell 6-0 in sets two and three to win the match.
Maryland returns to action later Saturday evening against George Mason at 5 p.m.
