Maryland Representatives
- Maryland will be sending four players to the tournament. Senior Aida Eissa, Sophomore Lucia Donnelly, and newcomers Sophomore Mila Mulready, and Freshman Anastasiia Sorska. Eissa and Donnelly both competed in the Fall 2025 tournament, with Eissa going 6-5 in singles, and Donnelly finishing 7-1 in singles.
- Mulready makes her Maryland debut after transferring from Virginia Tech, and Sorska is a Freshman from Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Other Representatives
- Maryland will be one of three Big Ten schools represented in the Furman Fall Classic, including Indiana and Illinois.
- Other representatives are Alabama, Furman, Georgia Tech, N.C. State, South Carolina, Wake Forest.
The format and scheduling for the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic go as follows:
FORMAT:
Singles and Doubles will be compass draws of 8.
Doubles- 1 set, no ad scoring (tiebreaker at 7-7).
Singles- 2 out of 3 sets, no ad scoring.
SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM START TIME EACH DAY
Friday: 2 rounds of doubles followed by one round of singles.
Saturday: 1 round of doubles followed by one round of singles.
Sunday: 1 round of singles.
