Maryland Softball to Compete in Mizuno Classic

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Softball program (9-10) will take the trip to Harrisonburg, VA to compete in the Mizuno Classic, hosted by James Madison.

Maryland will head into the weekend coming off a game against Virginia, where the Terps put up two runs on three hits, yet ultimately falling 2-10 in five innings. Maryland strung three straight hits together in the third, off the bats of Kiley Goff, Jaeda McFarland and Ruby Butler. Goff had a single, McFarland collected a two-bagger, and then Mikami drove them both home with a double of her own. Butler got a hit in the fourth inning but was left stranded.

Maryland Softball will face No. 10 Arkansas, and JMU on Friday, March 11 at 12:30 and 5:30, respectively.

NOTE: Saturday's games against Arkansas and Lehigh, along with Sunday's against JMU, will be weather permitting
