Michaela Jones was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Megan Mikami went 2-for-4 with three runs scored. Taylor Okada was also 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI. The other Terps' runs were driven in by Mackense Greico, Taylor Liguori, Kiley Goff and Merissa Borkowski.
Maryland stole seven bases -- two of home plate -- with Mikami swiping three, one of home and Goff getting the other-scoring steal.
On the mound, Trinity Schlotterbeck threw seven innings, allowing four runs and scattering eight hits.
Breaking Down The Action
• The Terps took a 3-0 lead in the first inning as Okada singled down the leftfield line to bring home Mikami and Jones' single brought home two runs.
• Maryland scored two more runs in the third as Goff stole home on a double-steal with Mikami. Then Greico drove in Mikami with a single to center.
• James Madison got one back in the third to make it 5-1.
• The Terps tacked on another run in the fifth as Jones drove in Kamryn Davis with a single to right. JMU answered with a run in the bottom of the inning for a 5-2 score after five.
• Maryland expanded the lead to 9-2 in the sixth as Campbell Kline scored on a throwing error after stealing third base. Then Mikami stole home which was followed by Taylor Liguori's run-scoring single to bring in Greico.
• James Madison scored two in the bottom of the sixth to make it 9-4.
• The Terps scored three more runs in the seventh with two runs scoring on Goff's single and Borkowski's double to score Goff. That made is 12-4.
• The Dukes added a run in the bottom of the seventh for the final of 12-5.

• Maryland's games on Saturday against No. 8 Arkansas and Lehigh have been postponed due to weather. The Terps are schedule to play James Madison again on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
