GymTerps to Compete at Big Ten Championship

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Gymnastics program (17-7) is set to head to Columbus, Ohio to compete in the Big Ten Women's Gymnastics Championships on March 19 at Noon. The meet will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network. It can also be seen live on the FOX Sports App.

The GymTerps head into the weekend ranked No. 20 overall in the nation, including being No. 13 on bars and No. 17 on vault. Senior Audrey Barber also ranks No. 11 in the country in the all-around.

The Terps put up stellar numbers at their last home meet this past Sunday, earning a program fifth-best team score of 197.025. This marked the third 197+ team score in a row for Maryland, in addition to the third consecutive meet the GymTerps have earned a top-five program best score.

Junior Emma Silberman tied the school record on bars (9.950), while Barber tied her career and program high on floor with a 9.950.

Maryland will compete alongside Nebraska, Iowa, Penn State, Rutgers, and Illinois in the first session. The Terps will start on floor.
