COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Softball program (8-6) will take the trip to Charlotte, NC to compete in the Queen City Classic.
The Terps head into Charlotte coming off of a 4-1 weekend in the Chanticleer Showdown, hosted by Coastal Carolina. In Maryland's victory over Monmouth (2/26), the Terps put up the most runs (14) and hits (17) in the
Mark Montgomery era. Senior
Mackense Greico was a standout, going 8-18 with three homers (including two against Monmouth), earning her her first Big Ten Player of the Week nom, the first for the Terps since 2015.
Maryland Softball will face Villanova (7-8), UNC Charlotte (13-3), and Boston College (8-5) Friday, March 4 through Saturday, March 5.
