Maryland Softball to Host Iowa

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Softball program (15-15, 2-1 B1G) is set to host the Iowa Hawkeyes (16-13, 0-3 B1G) at home, Friday, April 1 through Sunday, April 3.
The Terps head into the weekend coming of a 2-1 series win over Penn State, taking down the Nittany Lions 8-3 and 6-4 to open up Big Ten Conference play.
In Maryland's final game, Mackense Greico went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, while Megan Mikami went 3-for-4 with an RBI. The Terps' other RBIs came from Haley Ellefson and Michaela Jones.
In the circle, Trinity Schlotterbeck came on in relief of Ellefson to finish the game with 3.2 innings of scoreless and one-hit ball. She also struck out five.
