COLLEGE PARK, MD -- No. 24 Maryland used big bombs and some small ball to win Game 2 of the weekend series with Ohio State, 6-5, on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Bob 'Turtle Smith Stadium.

Luke Shliger, and
Nick Lorusso hit towering shots while
Chris Alleyne and Lorusso used sacrifice bunts to plate two more, allowing Maryland (28-7, 6-2 Big Ten) to capture the weekend series.
Ryan Ramsey started on the mound for Maryland and pitched 4.1 innings before the bullpen took over.
Nigel Belgrave was dominant on the mound, pitching 2.1 scoreless innings and earned his first victory of the year.

- Ohio State took a 1-0 lead in the first winning on an RBI groundout by Kern.
- The Buckeyes tacked on two runs in the fourth inning with a run that scored on an error and an RBI single by McAlister to make it 3-0.
- Zmarzlak launched his second home run in as many days for a two-run shot to score Troy Schreffler Jr., and cut the Terps' deficit to 3-2. The Terps then took the lead with some small ball on back-to-back bunts by Chris Alleyne and Nick Lorusso to score Kevin Keister and Luke Shliger.
