COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland softball team (24-18) will head to Minneapolis, MN to face the Minnesota Gophers (19-18-1) Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24. All games will be streamed on BTN+.

Maryland heads into the weekend coming off a sweep against Rutgers in their doubleheader on Tuesday. In the first game, Haley Ellefson launched a two-run home run to key that third inning as 11 Terps came to the plate in the inning. Ellefson was 2-for-4 with those two RBIs. Jaeda McFarland went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, and RBI double and two stolen bases, including a steal of home. Taylor Okada also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Michaela Jones went 2-for-2 as Maryland had 11 hits in the game.

Courtney Wyche dominated in the circle in the second game, striking out eight while surrendering just one hit and an unearned run. Taylor Okada recorded her third multi-hit game in her last four games, going 2-for-3 with a double. Maryland's offense totaled nine hits.
