Softball to Face Purdue This Weekend

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Softball program (19-15, 5-1 B1G) will travel to to Purdue this weekend. Friday's originally-scheduled game was moved to Saturday as part of a doublehader starting at 1 p.m.. The doubleheader games will be streamed on BTN+ and Sunday's game will air on Big Ten Network.
The Terps' 5-1 conference play start also matches best start since the same season.
Trinity Schlotterbeck was a star in the circle for Maryland's last game against the Hawkeyes, throwing all seven innings and allowing just two runs on four hits while striking out seven. She also blasted her first career home run in the fifth inning.
Courtney Wyche found success in Maryland's second game with Iowa, notching a 0.00 era with
Jaeda McFarland had a stellar weekend for the Terps, going .500 with six hits (including a double, a triple, and her first homer of the season), the most of the team. McFarland tallied five runs and four RBIs, and finished with a 1.000 slugging percentage, and a perfect stolen base percentage (2-2).
