COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The winningest program in women's lacrosse history is heading back to the Final Four as No. 2 seed Maryland topped No. 7 seed Florida, 18-5, on Thursday afternoon at the Maryland Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex.

The Terps have now made 12 of the last 13 Final Fours under head coach Cathy Reese dating to 2009. "What a great day for our Terps," said head coach Cathy Reese. "Super proud of our team all the way through. We settled in after the first quarter and we came out in the second half on fire. Our defense played great, both of our goalies made some great saves. Our offense, especially in the third quarter, really took care of the ball and put away some good opportunities. Congrats to Florida on a great season. Really proud of our effort today."
