Jaxon Smith Makes U20 World Team

Geneva, Oh. - Jaxon Smith earned his spot on the U20 Freestyle World Team on Saturday with a pair of victories over Silas Allred (Nebraska Wrestling Training Center) in his best-of-three finals.

Smith topped Allred 13-6 and then 10-0 in the next bout. Smith awaited his challenger after winning the US Open on April 30. He outscored his competition 44-2 that weekend.

The 2022 World Championships will be from August 15-21 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
