
Terps Ranked No.3 in NFHCA Week One Poll

College Park, MD -- Maryland field hockey has been ranked No. 3 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll after week 1, the organization announced Tuesday.
The Terps received 887 votes including three first place selections. The Terps advance one position in the poll after beginning their 2022 campaign with a 4-0 record.
Maryland is coming off the B1G/ACC Challenge which saw them face two ranked ACC opponents in three days. The Terps came away with two victories claiming a 3-1 win over No. 14 Boston College and 7-2 triumph over No. 18 Duke.
Maryland will return to action when they host the 22nd annual Terrapin Invitational and face Harvard on Friday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m.
