the conference announced on Monday.
Tagovailoa is the only player in Maryland history to have garnered Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on four separate occasions, also earning the honor earlier this year (10/2) and on Sept. 12, 2022 and Nov. 2, 2020.
Going up against a Rutgers defense that entered the game ranked No. 11 nationally in scoring defense, Tagovailoa completed 24 of 31 passes for a season-high 361 yards and accounted for 4 touchdowns (3 passing, 1 rushing).
