David Boutin is a Senior Technology Analyst at Accenture in Arlington, VA. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. David has a deep passion for advancing underrepresented & underprivileged communities through STEM education and development. He currently serves on the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) DC Professional Chapter Board of Directors and received appointments to the University of Maryland CMSE Advisory Board and Neilom Foundation Board. During his time at UMD, David was heavily involved on campus where he was honored with some of the highest awards an undergraduate can receive: Maryland Medallion Society, Senior Marshal, initiation into Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society, Theta Tau National Outstanding Student Member, and the A. James Clark School of Engineering Dean's Award for Outstanding Service. No matter where he is in his career, he will always strive to empower the next generation of enthusiastic scientists & engineers to create positive social impact by using technology and building meaningful relationships.
Ben Cornwell '16

Dr. Ben Cornwell is a second year resident in Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. He graduated from UMD in 2016 with degrees in Biology and Business Management, from the medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 2021, and now at UMMC. While on campus, he was a resident assistant, participated and led Alternative Spring Break trips, and was inducted into ODK. In medical school and into residency, he continues to be involved with his community, mentoring medical students, teaching STEM courses to elementary students in Baltimore, and delivering meals to at-risk individuals during the covid pandemic. He hopes to continue this community engagement after graduating from residency next year, working in a community ER serving as a safety-net for patients who may not have easy access to healthcare. When he's not in the hospital, he enjoys cheering on Maryland sports teams!

Anna DiPaula is a Facility Security Officer for multiple Government-Contracting companies serving various US Agencies. Anna graduated from UMD where she competed as a student-athlete on the Competitive Cheer team. Additionally, she was inducted into Alpha Phi Sigma, served as a Teaching Assistant for the Criminology Department, and interned at the Legal Aid office. Since graduation, she has continued to coach cheerleading with the Maryland Twisters, where she helps shape and mold the area's next generation of athletes that she was able to do during her time in College Park.

He has worked with a range of businesses and organizations, from Citibank and Bloomberg to the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps, where he helped UMD Professors commercialize their research into new businesses and technologies.

Alexandra Givan is the Global Community DEI Programs Lead at TikTok, where she is responsible for developing program frameworks to address the challenge of scaled representation and satisfaction across the platform's global community, with a focus on underrepresented communities. She graduated UMD class of 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a certificate in African American studies. As an undergraduate student, Alexandra was active in the Terp community as a member of the Kappa Phi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society, CIVICUS Living and Learning Program, president of UMSUCCESS, and a campus Resident Assistant. As an alumna, Alexandra played a key role in launching UMD's Student Success Service Leadership Scholarship Fund, which provides financial support to students who have demonstrated a commitment to UMD's Black community. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Master in Business and Management Program at the Robert H. Smith School of Business and is an annual Adele's Circle of Women scholarship reviewer.
John C. Hulede '20

John C. Hulede currently works at Adobe as a Mid-Market Account Manager in the Digital Media org and assists companies with their digital transformation. He is also a member of Maryland Made Terps, a program that empowers UMD student athletes in becoming leaders during and post school. Huelde graduated from University of Maryland with a Master's degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology in 2020 after finishing his Bachelor's in Marketing from Towson University in 2017. In his free time, he frequents UMD women's basketball games with his friend and mentor, former Terrapin Club President, Mary Pratt-Henaghan. In March 2022, as a former 4 year NCAA Division 1 collegiate golfer at Towson, Hulede launched "the Hulede Collegiate Golf Scholarship" through Bold.org whose mission is to support minorities playing collegiate golf. In September 2022, he awarded 4 inaugural scholarship winners, with year 2 recipients to be announced in August 2023. In total, over $14,000 has been raised so far through his own money, company matches, word of mouth, and social media campaigns.

Michelle Jamin now the owner of Align Rehabilitation, a physical therapy practice located in Abingdon, MD, where she treats exclusively the amputee population. Michelle is a strong disability advocate and serves as the Vice President of Orthotics Prosthetics Activities Foundation (OPAF) and is the Director of Government Relations for APTA - MD. Jamin graduated in 2016 with her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Elon University.

Ross also recruits the next generation of Terrapin engineers and builders, as well as helps build Clark's career development program. Jespersen graduated with a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering in 2015. As a student, Ross attended every soccer, football, and basketball game he could, was a member of Theta Tau Engineering Fraternity and led the ASCE Steel Bridge team. Victoria LeCompte is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Public Accountant working as a forensic accounting and investigations professional at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Victoria helps clients detect and prevent fraud and corruption within their organizations and assists with investigations into violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and accounting regulations enforced by U.S. regulatory agencies. During her time at the University of Maryland, Victoria earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Victoria is a proud Maryland graduate and a lifelong Terp.

Lee facilitates eGaming initiatives, fan outreach development, email marketing, events and other fan engagement programs for the Titans. While at the University of Maryland, Lee served on the executive board of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity and frequently attended Maryland football and basketball games. Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and his goal is to continue mentoring recent Maryland graduates who are looking to pursue a career in professional sports.

Throughout her time at the FBI, Erin worked in the Financial Crimes Section supporting money laundering and virtual currency investigations and later managed the FBI's Integrity in Sport and Gaming program focused on identifying, combating, and disrupting the criminal activities that degrade the integrity of sports competitions. A proud Terp, Erin enjoys attending Maryland football and basketball games and is already molding her young niece and nephews into future Terrapins!

Charles Mahoney serves as a Naval Flight Officer stationed in Norfolk, Virginia flying the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, an aircraft specialized in command and control missions. Charles has been recognized as the top Naval Flight Officer in the nation to graduate the challenging Naval Flight Training Pipeline in 2022. Mahoney graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Economics in 2020. While at Maryland he was involved in numerous clubs and organizations, including serving as the Battalion Commanding Officer of the Naval ROTC Unit, a Student Government Association Representative and an active fan of the Terps. He looks forward to continuing to serve the nation and represent the Terps with pride.

Dylan Mooers is a Vice President at Cornerstone Government Affairs, where he provides strategic guidance and advocates for a diverse group of clients with interests in the transportation and infrastructure, national security, and technology sectors. Mooers is a two-time UMD graduate, having completed his B.A. in 2016 and MPP in 2019. As an undergraduate, Dylan was on the men's rugby team and participated in the Public Leadership Scholars and Federal Semester Fellows programs. Dylan enjoys speaking with current Terps about their careers, and prides himself on hiring them as Cornerstone Interns and Associates. Dylan and his wife Nicole - who he met on freshman move in day - live in Hyattsville and are Men's Basketball season ticket holders.

Leor Newman works as the Manager of Digital Giving at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the nation's largest and most influential child protection organization. A two-time UMD graduate, Leor Newman achieved both his Bachelor's and Master's from the Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2016 and 2017, respectively. While at Maryland, he interned with the University Park Mayor's office and served as the Treasurer and Philanthropy Chair of the Sigma Nu fraternity, helping to organize fundraisers for clubs on campus such as Terp Thon, Terps For Happiness, and Students Helping Honduras.

She graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in community and behavioral health, and a master's degree in marketing analytics. In 2019, she joined Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she has led strategic projects to enable life science research, support the COVID-19 response, and accelerate progress in cell and gene therapy. Elise maintains her connection to the University by participating in new student orientation, career fairs, networking panels, and mentorship of current students.

Zimuzo Nwaigwe currently works for the Denver Broncos as a scouting intern. Nwaigwe graduated from UMD in 2016, where he was a walk-on to the UMD football team as a running back and also interned for the Maryland Athletics public relations department. Last year he joined his parents in opening a psychiatric rehabilitation center in Baltimore which aims to help individuals with persistent and serious mental illness develop the emotional, social, and intellectual skills needed to live, learn, and work in the community with the least amount of professional support.

Jane (Rose) Osher now works as a pediatric and cochlear implant audiologist in the Chicago-land area and is the creator of Hear4theEars, a social advocacy platform for childhood hearing loss and ear disorders. Osher graduated with her undergraduate degree in Hearing and Speech Science and her doctoral degree in Audiology from the University of Maryland. Having moved back to her home state, Jane now enjoys wearing her game-day UMD apparel and connecting with other Terrapin alumni that cross her path anywhere from group fitness classes to grocery shopping.

Cathryn Paul is the Public Policy Director at CASA, the largest immigrant rights organization in the region, where she leads immigrant advocacy campaigns on the local, state, and federal levels. As a student, she was deeply involved on campus as a Nyumburu ambassador, leader in student group Community Roots, and member of Maryland's marching band. Now, Cathryn is passionate about using policy to improve the lives of Black and Latino immigrant families and investing in young students. She is a proud graduate of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences with a degree in African American studies.

Born and raised in Mount Airy, MD, Megan Pittas graduated from the University of Maryland with a double degree in Government & Politics (International Relations Concentration) and Psychology. She also works collaboratively with Inspiring Girls* Expeditions, particularly as the Onsite Coordinator for Girls* on Ice and as a key research associate for an upcoming expedition supporting Indigenous Youth.

Julia Ring currently works at 2U, an education technology company, as an Enterprise Operations Specialist in Chicago. Prior to her graduation in 2016, Julia was involved in a number of student organizations including College Park Scholars; Maryland Images: Campus Tour Guides; and the Jewish Student Union, for which she was president her senior year. One of her proudest accomplishments is working with Experience Camps, a non-profit that runs free, week-long camps for children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. Julia is program director for the newest location which is in Maryland and will open for the first time this summer.

Brandon is also a part owner of The Ivory Peacock Bar located in the Nomad area where Terps are always welcome. Brandon is a lifetime member of the UMD Alumni Association, a Giving Day Champion, and his affinity for Maryland Athletics remains part of his identity. He can often be seen in College Park, both at Bentley's and at the games, as well as attending the many Terrapin gatherings such as Maryland in Manhattan.

Tawiah serves as Assistant General Counsel at The Beanstalk Group, a licensing agency where he guides the trademark licensing program for the company's corporate brand clients. Last year, he founded Tawiah Sports Group, a representation firm that assists college athletes with NIL representation, as well as contract review for music artists and social media influencers. Prior to graduating from Maryland, Tawiah served as a Scout player for University of Maryland Women's Basketball and the President of Maryland Men's Club Basketball. Following graduation from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2018, Tawiah earned his J.D. from Elon University in Greensboro, North Carolina. Tawiah currently resides in New Jersey with his wife, Monique Tawiah, who is also a University of Maryland alumna.

Vasquez, a Prince George's County, MD native, graduated from UMD in 2018, where she was part of the University Senate, the Kappa Phi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and a Resident Assistant. Ashley serves as the Recruiting Chair on the Executive Board at Latinx@Ops, which helps recruit Black and Brown students to Operations at Apple and is a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response instructor at Joint Base Andrews, MD.

She gives back to her community by supporting the Kids In Need, Cystic Fibrosis, Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Foundations and the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. She continuously displays Maryland pride through her mentorship of current student athletes with the MDMade Mentor Program. She frequently participates on panels for the School of Public Health and also mentors Kinesiology undergraduate students by assisting with their career aspirations and professional development.

Jazmyn White graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and while on campus, she served as President of the Black Student Union, an Orientation Advisor, Honors College Ambassador, and became a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Following her time at UMD, she started her career as a Software Engineer in the defense industry for a Fortune 100 company, and mixed in her passion for people to transition into Software Engineering Management in 2020. Jazmyn believes representation matters and continues to connect with young minority students to encourage their interest in STEM careers through campus organizations and local non-profits.

Afia "Fifi" Yeboah is a writer and businesswoman from Baltimore, Maryland. Founder of Queen Fifi, LLC, she offers writing consulting, public speaking, and an array of other professional services to her local and international communities. A 2015 graduate from UMD, Afia is a C.D. Mote, Jr. Incentive Awards Program full academic and merit scholarship recipient, and the English Department's 2015 Sara Ann Soper Service Award recipient, an award which recognizes the highest commitment to public service both domestically and internationally. Afia continues to give back as she completes intercontinental service projects, teaching English and coordinating a donation drive in Colombia, and orating at a peace conference in Germany. Locally, she has worked with nonprofits to provide classroom book grants and she has volunteered with fitness organizations to provide free services to communities in need.
