WNBA Draft Preview: #ProTerps Set for Draft on ESPN

NEW YORK -- Former Terrapins Diamond Miller, Abby Meyers and Elisa Pinzan are all set for the WNBA Draft Monday, April 10 at 7 p.m. ET at the Spring Studios in New York City. All three Terps have declared themselves eligible to be drafted. The draft will be televised on ESPN.

In the latest ESPN Mock Draft, Miller was the projected No. 2 overall pick to the Minnesota Lynx. Meyers was projected to go at the 20th overall pick to the Washington Mystics.

Currently, six Terrapin alums are in the WNBA, including Kaila Charles (Atlanta Dream), Tianna Hawkins (Washington Mystics), Brionna Jones (Connecticut Sun), Kristi Toliver (Los Angeles Sparks), Alyssa Thomas (Connecticut Sun) and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough (Washington Mystics).

Eighteen Terrapins have been drafted in the history of the WNBA since the league began in 1999. Fourteen Terps have been drafted under Brenda Frese, including eight in the First Round. Marissa Coleman is the Terrapins' highest draft pick in program history, as she was selected 2nd overall to the Washington Mystics in 2009.
