COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland (25-15, 8-4 B1G) secured yet another conference series win on Sunday, defeating Purdue (19-20, 8-7 B1G), 10-8, at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium in College Park.
Sunday's win extended Maryland's Big Ten series win streak to 19 consecutive series, a streak that dates back to the 2021 season.
Maryland scored in each of the first three innings on Sunday, jumping out to a 5-1 lead after the fifth inning. Kenny Lippman pitched a gem for the Terps, giving up one run, three hits and striking out five over five innings of work.

Shliger finished with a four-hit day, his first four-hit game of the season, and scored three runs, bringing his Big Ten-best total to 59 on the season. It's the eighth time he's scored three runs in a game this season.
Ian Petrutz hit a solo homer in the bottom of the fifth as he and Lambros each reached double-digit homers on the season, giving the Terps four different players to have hit 10 or more homers on the year to date. Seven of Lambros' homers have been hit at home.
