COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The 2022 Big Ten Champion Maryland field hockey program will welcome seven top freshmen this year as part of Maryland's 2023 recruiting class.
Josie Hollamon (Delmar, Del.), Maci Bradford (Delmar, Del.), Maya Everett (Arnold, Md), Maddie Vasilios (Clarksville, Md), Alyssa Klebasko (Odenton, Md), Reagan Beall (Davidsonville, Md), and Annemijn Klijnhout (Driebergen-Rijssenburg, The Netherlands) will join the Terps for the 2023 season, Head Coach
Missy Meharg and her staff announced Friday.

"Delaware's record-breaking cousin combination, Maci Bradford and Josie Hollamon, Marylands' best-of-the-best, champions and players of the year: Reagan Beall, Maya Everett, Alyssa Klebasko and Maddie Vasilios coupled with crafty U17 Dutch midfielder Annemijn Klijnhout."
Josie Hollamon who joined the Terps in January, comes to College Park after an immensely successful international and high school career. A Max Field Hockey First Team All-American, Hollamon received both Delaware and Mid-Atlantic region Player of the Year honors. The defender from Delmar, Delaware, is a U.S. Women's National Team member and was also selected as a National Field Hockey Coaches Association First-Team All-American. Hollamon was a consensus top-10 recruit, a four-time state champion at Delmar High School and named Delaware D-II Defensive Player of the Year.
Maci Bradford also a native of Delmar, Delaware comes to Maryland as a Max Field Hockey 2022 High School National All-American. Bradford was also named the 2022 Delaware D-II Offensive Player of the Year after winning her fifth consecutive State Championship with Delmar High School. A top recruit in the class of 2023, Bradford will come to College Park as a member of the 2023 USA U-18 Women's National Team and an NFHCA First Team All-American.
Maya Everett joins the Terps as the 2022 Max Field Hockey Maryland High School Player of the Year after leading nearby Broadneck High School to a 20-0 undefeated season and their first state championship in 20 years. The midfielder and Arnold, Maryland native who earned a Max Field Hockey Second Team All-American selection, scored 19 goals and tallied nine assists over the fall 2022 season. This was the third Player of the Year honor for Everett who was named both Baltimore Banner/VSN and Baltimore Sun Metro Player of the Year for 2022.
Maddie Vasilios comes to College Park after an excellent 2022 high school campaign which saw her receive multiple honors. The River Hill high school standout earned 2022 Howard County Times/Columbia Flier field hockey Player of the Year after leading the state of Maryland with 50 goals while dishing out 18 assists. The two-time Max Field Hockey All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team selection led the Hawks to a Howard County championship and the program's second straight Class 3A state championship appearance in 2022.
Alyssa Klebasko joins the Terps after a tremendous season at Garrison Forest School which earned her Baltimore Banner/VSN 2022 Top Defender of The Year as well as NFHCA and Max Field Hockey First Team All-American honors. The Odenton, Maryland native had a standout season this fall at goalkeeper, recording an 85.4 save percentage and allowing only 14 goals in 18 games. Klebasko is currently a 2023 USA U-18 Women's National Team member and was selected for the European tour.
Reagan Beall joins the Maryland field hockey program after a stellar season at goalkeeper for South River High School. The Davidsonville, Maryland native was a team captain and a 2022 Anne Arundel All-County Second Team selection.Â
Annemijn Klijnhout joins the Terps from Driebergen-Rijssenburg, The Netherlands after gaining impressive experience for multiple clubs. Klijnhout has served as a team captain for four years and was named the best player at the NK indoor tournament. The midfielder has earned a place on multiple Dutch youth selection teams, including district northwest U-14, Dutch B U-16 and Dutch U-18.Â

The seven newcomers will join a Terrapin squad fresh off the program's 21st NCAA Final Four appearance and 15th overall regular-season conference championship.
