COLLEGE PARK, MD – Fans coming to the Maryland football game against Charlotte will get a sweet treat before the 7:30 PM kickoff as the UMD Dairy will have free samples of men's basketball head coach
Kevin Willard's new ice cream flavor.Â

The name for the ice cream, as selected in an online fan vote, will be Willard's Full Court Press.
Â
Members of the 2023-24 team will be signing autographs for fans from 5:30-6:30 PM at Terp Alley located at Legacy Plaza by Riggs Alumni Hall.

The first 250 fans in line will be treated to an early access tasting of Coach Willard's ice cream which is made up of blackberry, peanut butter cups, banana and vanilla.

The flavor will officially launch closer to the basketball season which begins on Nov. 7 when the Terps host Mount Saint Mary's at the XFINITY Center.Â
