Rose's Hat Trick Lifts No. 4 Terps To 3-1 Victory Over Miami (OH)

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Hope Rose starred for The No. 4 Terps (5-1) once again, notching her first career hat trick en route to a 3-1 win over Miami (Ohio) (3-2) to kick off the Terrapin Invitational in a game that was called just over 10 minutes early due to inclement weather in the area.
Rose scored all three of the Terps' goals, doing so over the first three quarters. She now has eight of Maryland's 19 goals this season. The Terp defense was outstanding once again, only allowing two shots on goal.
Maryland outshot the Redhawks 16-4 and earned five corners to their three.
The game needed an extended halftime due to inclement weather in the area and then saw another storm delay with just over 10 minutes left in regulation.
