UNIVERSITY PARK, PA - The Maryland track and field team wrapped up the Nittany Lion Challenge in State College, PA where three Terps notched their names in the record books.
Freshman Victoria Teasley started the day strong for the Terps placing first in the Women's 60m. Teasley has quickly made an impact for the Terps as her time of 7.54 put her 6th all-time in Maryland track and field history.
Kevin Collins continues his successful season placing 5th in the men's 60m. The sophomore's time of 6.83 moved him up the record books as he stands in 5th all-time in Maryland track and field history.
Tolu Akinduro earned a second-place finish in the women's triple jump. In Akinduro's first event indoors the sophomore's jump of 12.25m put her name in Terps' history as 6th best all time.
As a team, the Terps earned a second-place finish in the women's 4x400 relay. Madison Depry, Sam Payne, Lydia Robling, and Maya Mosley helped Maryland cross the finish line with a time of 3:46.50.

- Eric Albright set a personal best in the mile with a time of 4:09.56 which was good for 5th place.
- Emmi Simon sets her own personal best in the women's mile with a time of 5:03.86.
- Jayla Bynum finishes 4th in women's shot with a throw of 14.89m.
- Jeff Kline, in the men's shot, tossed 18.89m which gave him a third-place finish. He was the first collegiate finisher in the event.
- In the women's 400m, Madison Depry and Maya Mosley placed in the top 5 as both Terps finished 3rd and 5th place respectively.
- Freshman Jennessa Wolfe's 1.68m in women's high jump earned her a 5th place finish.
- Senior Anna Coffin placed second in the women's 3000m with a time of 9:44.02 for a strong opener.
- Sophomore Andrew Harmon's throw of 17.46m placed him in fourth place in men's weight throw and was a personal best
- Senior Kami Joi Hickson set a new personal best in the 600m posting a time of 1:33.68 good for fifth place
Coach's Comments:
"Today was our first meet back from the break and gave us an opportunity to assess and perform as we look ahead to a strong 2024 indoor season. With many athletes achieving marks on par with their personal bests we are in a good position to continue to build."
