Terps will wear special throwback uniforms to honor Hall of Fame coach.

COLLEGE PARK, MD - On Jan. 21 against Michigan State, Maryland Athletics will honor legendary Hall of Fame men's basketball coach Lefty Driesell for the indelible impact he made on Maryland men's basketball.

The game will feature several promotions for fans, the return of prominent alumni from Maryland from Driesell's teams, and will showcase a new throwback uniform for the Terps. The game will tip at 12 PM and will be nationally televised on CBS.

Additionally, Maryland reached the ACC title game six times under Driesell. The Terps were ranked as high as No. 2 nationally in the AP rankings for four consecutive years from 1972-76.

For fans, the game will feature 2,000 replica t-shirts given away to students as well as special foam fingers in Coach Driesell's famous 'V' for victory hand sign for all fans, while supplies last.
