
Big Ten Releases Game Times, TV information

ROSEMONT, IL -- The Big Ten Conference released game time and television information for the 2024-25 women's basketball season Wednesday.
The Terrapins will play 15 nationally-televised games, including two games on FOX, two on FS1, one on NBC, and seven on the Big Ten Network. Click HERE for the full schedule and game times.
Maryland's first nationally-televised game will be a matchup with Duke on Sunday, Nov. 10 in College Park. The Terps and the Blue Devils will tip off at 1 p.m. and the game will be televised on FS1. Next, the Terrapins will travel to Syracuse for a 7 p.m. matchup on Wednesday, Nov. 13, which will be televised on the ACC Network.
The Terps will play seven straight nationally televised games, beginning with a Jan. 5 matchup at Iowa, which will be streamed on the Big Ten Network. The Terrapins' Jan. 8 game vs. USC in College Park will be televised on FS1.
Maryland will take on Texas in the first annual Coretta Scott King Classic in Newark, N.J. on Monday, Jan. 20. The matchup will be on FOX and will tip off at 5:30 p.m. The Terps' Jan. 26 home game vs. UCLA will be on NBC.
The Terrapins will have seven games in Feb-March televised nationally, including a Feb. 6 matchup at Oregon (FS1) and a March 2 matchup vs. Ohio State (FOX).
Maryland was picked to finish fourth out of 18 teams in the Big Ten by the league's media panel and head coaches. Senior guard Shyanne Sellers was named to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team last week.
Maryland returns All-Big Ten honorees Sellers and Bri McDaniel, as well as Emily Fisher, Emma Chardon and Allie Kubek for the 2024-25 season. The Terrapins also welcome three incoming freshmen in Ava McKennie (McSherrystown, Pa.), Breanna Williams (Billings, Mon.) and Kyndal Walker (Beltsville, Md.).
Head coach Brenda Frese and her staff signed seven transfers in Christina Dalce (Edison, N.J. / Villanova), Amari DeBerry ( Williamsville, N.Y. / UConn), Mir McLean (Baltimore, Md. / UConn/Virginia), Isimenme Ozzy-Momodu (London, England / Gulf Coast State), Saylor Poffenbarger (Middletown, Md. / Arkansas/UConn), Kaylene Smikle (Bay Shore, N.Y. / Rutgers) and Sarah Te-Biasu (Montreal, Canada / VCU).
