
Terps Place Fifth At Big Five Meet With 195.100 Score

STATE COLLEGE, PA – Maryland gymnastics placed fifth with a score of 195.100 at the Big Five Meet on Saturday evening at Rec Hall. The meet featured No. 11 Michigan, No. 21 Illinois, No. 22 Penn State and Iowa.
The Terps excelled on floor with two gymnasts scoring in the top five. Madeline Komoroski set a career-high with a 9.950 score that ranked second amongst all competitors. Alexa Rothenbuescher placed fourth with a score of 9.925. Overall, Maryland scored 49.425 as a team in the event, which was second behind Michigan.
Michigan took first place in the meet after placing no lower than second in every competition.
