Terps Place First At Maryland Quad With 196.350 Score

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland gymnastics placed first with a score of 196.350 at the Maryland Quad on Friday at XFINITY Center. The Terps hosted Central Michigan, George Washington and William & Mary. 

Maryland outscored the opposing schools in two competitions, including the uneven bars and balance beam. Its beam performance was headlined by Madeline Komoroski who set a new career-high to lead the Terps with a 9.925 score. One other competitor matched her score in the meet. On bars, which was Maryland's second rotation, Emma Silberman scored 9.850 and Rhea LeBlanc added a 9.800 score as two of only six competitors to score 9.800 or higher in the competition.  The Terps finished the meet on floor where Alexa Rothenbuescher and Natalie Martin each scored 9.875. Only two other competitors scored higher in the competition.    On vault, the Terrapins' first rotation, Josephine Kogler led the Terps with a 9.850 score.
