
Terps Wrap Up Collegiate Invitational In Guadalajara

GUADALAJARA, MEXICO -- The Terrapins completed the two-day Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club on Saturday, Feb. 3. Maryland finished the invitational in ninth place.
Panassaya Somchit and Patricie Mackova led the way for the Terps. Out of 63 total golfers, the two girls each earned total scores of 227 (+11 over par) and finished in a three-way with New Mexico's Lauren Lehigh for 23rd.

Maria Vittoria Corbi finished in a tie for 33rd and earned a score of 230. Virginia Bossi and Karla Elena Vázquez Setzer were both part of a six-way tie for 36th. The girls shot 16 over par for a total score of 231.
As a team, the Terps earned a score of 908.
Next up, Maryland will head to Houston, TX for the Icon Invitational from Feb. 26 to Feb. 27.
