
Maryland Set for Briar's Creek Invitational

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland women's golf team will compete at the Briar's Creek Invitational this weekend at The Golf Club of Briar's Creek in Johns Island, S.C. The event will be played Monday, March 11 through Tuesday, March 12.
Fifth-years Virginia Bossi and Maria Vittoria Corbi, senior Patrice Mackova, junior Panassaya Somchit and sophomore Nicha Kanpai will compete for Maryland. Sophomore Tammy Wu will compete as an individual.
They will play 36 holes Monday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, followed by 18 holes Tuesday. Click HERE for live scoring.
The Golf Club of Briar's Creek is a Par 72 covering 6,152 total yards.
The Terrapins will compete against tournament-host College of Charleston, Boston College, Campbell, Florida, Georgetown, Illinois, Miami, Michigan State, Nebraska, NC State, Old Dominion, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers, UCF, and Wisconsin.
