
Terps Finish Day Two at UCF with Two More All-Time Performances

ORLANDO, FL - The Maryland track and field team closed out the first meet of the outdoor season strongly with impressive performances from Kami Joi Hickson, Tolu Akinduro and Andrew Harmon.
Hickson improved on her already sixth all-time mark in the Maryland record books, running 2:08.19 in the women's 800m.
Akinduro started her outdoor season off strongly, jumping 12.32m on her fifth attempt in the women's triple jump. Her jump was also good for a seventh-place finish.
Harmon competed in the men's hammer and threw 56.12m, which puts him in the fifth spot in school history, and also earned a top ten finish in the event

"This is a great start to the season with many athletes stepping up and drawing attention to the Maryland uniform. This is momentum we can build off."
Next Up: The Terps will host their first of two home meets next weekend, as the Maryland Invitational is set to take place on March 23rd.

Other Highlights
- Emma Pegg ran in the women's 800m, crossing the finish line in 2:13.13
- The men's 4x100m team of Kevin Collins, Kamari Trotz, Brandon James and Justin Ofotan went sub-41 seconds, finishing with a time of 40.73, and earning a fourth place finish
- The women's 4x100m team of Madison Depry, Victoria Teasley, Jewel Ofotan, and Armanie Coleman finished with a time of 46.34
- Sam Ford and Aaron Abedin both ran in the men's 400m
- Coleman ran 11.95 in the 100m dash. Teasley also competed in the 100m dash, finishing with a 12.06
- Morgan Graham threw a 46.95m in the women's hammer throw
- Jennessa Wolfe competed in the women's high jump
- Collins, James, Ofotan, and Tanner Leach all competed in the men's 100 dash. Collins finished with 10.62 time, Ofotan ran a 10.77, meanwhile James 10.69 and Leach finished with a 10.94 time.
- The women's 4x400m squad of Lyles, Mosley, Pegg, & Hickson closed out the day with a bang
