Football Analyst

The Football Analyst provides support to the football coaches to enhance the quality and efficiency of day-to-day operations and is primarily responsible for assisting with practice and game preparation. The successful candidate must have the ability and knowledge to break down opponent's special teams, offensive and defensive schemes, create detailed reports, complete daily office tasks, create and maintain practice plans and game plans, and create offensive/defensive playbooks and game books. The individual should have an advanced understanding of football analytics and be able to provide reports on various criteria.
Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to: Breakdown of game films, assist with practice planning/work with the coordinators in the off-season to plan, create and implement offensive/defensive philosophies for the football team, break down each opponent's offensive, defensive, and special teams game plan schemes, maintain weekly, seasonal self-scout/quality control documents; and other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in collegiate athletics environment or professional athletics or related field.

- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and,
- Must have exceptional organizational skills and excel in a team environment.
- This position requires evenings and weekends availability.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a collegiate athletics environment preferably at the NCAA FBS level.
- Knowledge of NCAA and BIG Ten Conference rules.
